To Thine Own Self Be True?

Richard on the authentic self. I’d touched on a related subject back in the old blog. A pet peeve of mine has long been people who take Polonius’ dictim, “to thine own self be true.” Consider at the minimum the character as presented in Plato before taking that saying seriously.
