New Yorker article on Chef Grant Achatz. He had tongue cancer and rather than have his tongue removed had some experimental treatments. They worked but as his taste slowly came back he gained a new appreciation for the relationship of tastes. Well worth reading for you foodies like myself. (HT: The Frontal Cortex)
