Human Microbiome Project

The Human Microbiome Project (NYT free sub required) I’d heard of the mapping of human proteins but this is a new one to me. It’ll probably be very instructive and lead to some major breakthroughs. I suspect seeing the human body as an ecology (or more accurately ecologies) can explain a lot of illness and function.
