Which Aggregator?

I got an email last week asking what aggregator I use for reading blogs. (You probably noticed that with the new blog I don’t have a list of blogs on the sidebar – that’s why)

I use NetNewsWire on the Mac and iPhone. It’s nice as it has a browser built in for quick views of posts but can also open the rss in Safari. It has a very nice UI and I can quickly read through all the news.

Google reader for me.

I find the online aggregators just don’t work nearly as well as dedicated applications. The UIs are always a bit kludgy in my experience. Plus the nice thing is that Safari will put a little RSS icon in the URL bar for all blogs. Click on that and it’ll automatically find the proper RSS feed and install it into NetNewsWire.
