Recurring Nightmare

OK this xkcd comic struck too close to home. I’ve been out of school for years and I still have this nightmare…

Of course mine is that it’s halfway through the semester, I’m about to graduate and I found out I’d signed up for a class by computer and didn’t realize I had signed up. I’d not been to class yet and I need it to graduate. Ugh. I hate that nightmare. But I’ve had the above one too.

I still get it as well.

Me too – every once in a while. It has been less since I went back to grad school.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Tell me you all have recurring dreams of being Superman and then I’ll really feel fine. (I have these dreams where I’m trapped in some horror movie, the axe comes down and hits my chest displaying the big S and I remember, “oh, I’m Superman…”)

I wake up in a cold sweat on occasion thinking I missed a court deadline.

Clark, I dream about this all the time. I keep wondering why I forgot that I had a class until finals. What is it with school that it becomes the most stressful of all types of dreams. Heck, I dream I’m an international spy and trying to escape from something, but I’m often killed in the process; and those dreams are not half as stressful as the school dreams.

I guess I’m reaping the benefits of being a careless student for all 23 years I went to school: I didn’t stress about my homework then and I still don’t sweat it.

Dang I have the same exact dream. Realizing that I’m failing a class that I didn’t remember signing up for. Of course it is always past the deadline to drop the class when I find out.

I have this at least yearly. Usually under stress. Always, still wake up scared.

Does waking up horrified that the peaceful beach scene didn’t happen, but realizing you are actually sitting in real class taking a test, count?

I haven’t had this dream in a long time. However, when I did, in the dream I was always naked as well.

Hi, how can I contact you?

I want to start, a list of philosophy BLOGS. A small presentation of the thing, a library or address book. But one question I don’t know is, how to contact people through blogs, I’m not familiar with this medium.
