Cognition and Culture on the Quest for the Historical Jesus. I like his quote of Meier noting that people want everything to be relevant for today whereas much makes sense only in his particular circumstances.

One Response to “Quest for the Historical Jesus”

To date the “quest” has been after an oxymoron: historical versus the Hellenist Roman-redacted image.

The quest begins by addressing the Judaic historical info actively ignored by Christianity. You’ll find it compiled at http://www.netzarim.co.il
(especially their History Museum pages)
