Swine Flu

Sorry for no posts. I came down with a very, very bad case of swine flu and ended up needing hospitalization for it. (I need assistance to breath)

It really sucks – especially given how hard I tried to get the vaccine.

I’m still in the hospital and have no idea when I’ll be out.

I’m so sorry to hear that, Clark. We weren’t tested, but we think swine flu went through our family a few weeks ago. I was in bed for three days. Then we had coughs that dragged on for another week or two. Not fun.

Clark, I’m sorry that you have to undergo this. It sounds like you picked up more than just the swine flu. It sounds like you also picked up pneumonia and respiratory failure.

I got out yesterday but am still on oxygen and can’t do much yet.

What’s the latest, Clark? Hope you’re doing better.

It looks like I’ll be on oxygen until the end of the month. I’m on blood thinners too for a blood clot I got in my arm in the hospital. But I’m doing better each day. It’s just taking a lot longer to get better than I expected. And it’s a crappy time of year to be unable to do much…

I’ll hopefully start doing posts here soon.
