“Dewey on Science” (PDF) It’s a bit of a mystery to me why pragmatism and the pragmatists aren’t a bigger force in contemporary philosophy. There’s been a renaissance of pragmatic scholarship but that hasn’t necessarily leached out in areas beyond semiotics. (Although Lee Smolin is a bit of a Peircean)
