LDS Church, Indians and Pioneer Day

LDS Church emphasizes the dispossessing of the Indians on Pioneer Day. A nice correction to some of the way some Utahns view Pioneer Day. I think many Mormons have an overly idealized view of LDS-Indian relations in the 19th century. Also see this post. I didn’t know about some of the small town reenactments. Many of which sound distasteful. As for my family, we went to the Cheyenne rodeo in Wyoming for Pioneer Day.
