The small ampitheatre known by locals as Bridal Veil, or by most ice climbers after the main route located there, Quick & Dirty is by far the most popular spot in the Park. On weekends there are usually one or two groups on the route. This is due to the short approach, large number of climbs and low avalanche danger. The climbs are clearly visible from the Cameron (Akamina) Highway. Large pullouts on either side of the guard rails means there is always space to park, even if a large group from Calgary has taken over most of the routes.

The best approach depends on who broke trail before you. Finding tracks should be easy enough. If you happen to be the first up after a new snow fall, the best approach is to park at the 1st pullout you drive up to. Just before the guard rail, head through the trees. You will cross the Akamina Highway heading down to the townsite in a few meters. Stick to the tree edge as far as possible until you have to drop down into the frozen creek bed.. After about 50m you will encounter a short ice step. Exit the creek to the right, and wade through some deep powder to get to the base of the routes.
