This the the premiere destination in the area. Three world class routes side by side, each with an entirely different character from each other. The avalanche danger on the climbs is minimal, although some of the open hillsides on the way up can be bad if significant amounts of snow have fallen during the year. Drive up the Cameron (Akamina) Highway for about 10 minutes. You will pass Quick & Dirty before coming to a large pullout and embankment on the right. From here the climbs are visible high up the hill to the east. There is usually an approach path beaten out on the north side of the pullout. If you are the first up, climb up the short but steep hilside on the left. Once on top of the hill, tend a bit left of the fall line. This will help you avoid one nasty little basin with lots of snow and alder. Skirt around this depression to the left. Here you will encounter the Akamina Higway Trail. Follow this down to your right for about 50m. You will pass by a very small little creek where the trees start to thin out. Walk up here passing by one very large boulder (no established problems!). You will get to a big boulder field. Head up this, passing through a short section of trees before having to sidehill to the base of the climbs. In the last slope, you are better off being too high than too low.
