There is not much to recommend this run. The river is fairly flat and shallow. There are numerous logs and sweepers, although, surprisingly enough, only one river wide log jam. The only interesting sections come as you pass by the hoodoos near the golf course. If you are a beginner thinking to get a run on an easy section this is not for you. If you are up to maneuvering around all the wood, the run will be way too boring. Put in at the Crandell Lake Campground, and take out at the bridge along the road to the townsite.
