This is a crystal clear river in a beautiful setting. The river is fairly bony so be aware that at anything except high flows you will be scraping the bottom. The middle rapid will be a portage for all but the insane. Watch for a large white colored ledge on the horizon line with a beige slab of rock visible off in the distance. The river funnels into a bathtub sized hole that is severely undercut on all sides. Portage either side, although river right is less bushy. At low water, the last rapid before the bridge is fairly technical. A bit of foresight is needed to figure out when to fit in the proper paddle strokes. At higher flows it is a big flush full through mid sized holes. The canyon church camp bridge tends to get clogged by logs. Check it out before you committ to the run, as eddying out above it is not a real option.
