EPI PEN

Epi Pen is the main reason you'll come to do this creek. It is a 20 foot chute with a 4 foot ledge and pillow at the top. The crux is not getting thrown off balance on the left-right combination at the top. While the left wall is slightly overhanging, the current generally pushes away from the falls, rather than back into it. There is a small ledge on the bootom left side of the drop, so make sure you don't stick your head over in that direction. It seems like playboats melt though the bottom of the drop better than full creek boats. Safety is very easy. Scout the drop before hand from the Gas Plant landing on the south of the road. It is slightly upstream from the wire fence. The horizon line before the drop is painfully obvious, but eddies are almost non-existent. Try catching the gravel bar and branches on the right. If you have a large party, don't expect to fit too many boats here.
