RED RUM

A deceptively hard drop where all the current runs along the side
of a vertical, and slightly overhanging wall on the right. This wall makes it
very hard to get in the proper boof stroke. Instead it seems like most boaters
get pounded right down to the bottom of the 15 foot pool. At high water the boils
reach to the undercut wall about 15 feet in front of the falls, and luckily feeds
out down sream fairly readily. While the line is pretty easy to guess, it is very
hard to fight the current in the shallow water at the top. Consider cutting right
as soon as you can on the class IV chute connecting Red Rum and Epi Pen. If you're
lucky this should set you up for a bit of a right to left.
