Access
North of the town of Beaver mines, on the north side of the bridge over the Castle river a prominent dirt road heads west. This is labeled Lynx Creek - Carbondale road. Follow this for a half hour. It merges with another road at a hairpin corner. North up the hill goes to Hillcrest. Continue west past a corral on the south. A dirt road heads off to the north immediately before the Lynx Creek bridge and Lynx creek campground. This campground is where 5 Alive and Entrance exam on Carbondale are located. Drive up the dirt road for about 1km. Lynx Creek Falls can clearly be seen from the road.
