SULPHUR CREEK

Class III
Grade III

This is a tiny volume, short seasoned creek found along the back road from Fernie to the popular Bull River. Usually the creek is too shallow to make such a short run worthwhile, however, when the water is flowing, it is a fast paced technical flush similar in character to Alexander Creek.

The run peaks around the middle of June and typically has a 3 week season at most. There is one river wide log halfway down the run, visible from the road. Before jumping in, it is a good idea to scout the whole thing. Most of this scouting can be done from the road along which it runs.
