Kishinena Peak

This minor peak has a long approach and poor views. Approach either up the Snow Show cabin trail past Blue Grouse Basin until you can head un the South Kootenai Pass. Alternatively, you can head up the Blackiston Valley. This is quicker and shorter. Once on the South Kootenai Pass, move off to the right through some nice looking Tamaracks to get to the peak.

It is also possible to continue walking along the ridge above Twin Lakes. While this has no named peaks, it does get you to a number of more pronounced summits, that I happen to find more impressive than Kishinena Peak.
