This news is a few days old, but I thought a few of you might be interested. As many know physicists postulate "dark matter" to account for mass that according to our calculations ought be ought there. Unfortunately it doesn't give off light. It's an idea that has been around a long time now. Well it would seem to make sense that if this stuff was out there that there would be large structures made out of it. This week there was a paper on just such an entity: a whole galaxy made out of dark matter. Apparently there are still a few places one can be skeptical, but this is fairly important data nonetheless. It should add to our knowledge of how galaxies evolve.
For those not up on dark matter or other such notions of modern cosmology, here's an excellent primer to the topic. It has a nice chapter on dark matter as well.
Your precipes: interesting. The idea of "The People" and "The Family Of God" bring me to consider 'dark matter' in two approaches; As people producing the secular sermon on The three intertwined universals: Nothing, Dark Matter and Unifying Energy. As a member of the Family Of God: the Sleeping Universe, The Unifying Energy field of "Heaven" and the "Abyss". This expands our view and gives a double side to a spherical question.
Huh?
