Just a few notes that the "deep" philosophy posts may dry up for a bit as I try to rethink some issues. I've decided that a few basic views I held were probably wrong. So I'm returning to some basic considerations to work out exactly where I went wrong and how. So it's back to a basic reading of Being and Time and a few other texts. (Especially Derrida's "Ousia and Grammar") In the meantime I may return to some more simple theological and social questions. Which frankly would be a nice change of pace anyway. In the meantime, don't forget about the SMPT Conference and the Mormonism and the Christian Tradition conferences that are coming up fast.
Sorry maybe this is a better place to ask. Does the SMPT conference cost money? Do I need to be a member?
I must admit I look forward to the more simple theological and social questions. I tried to follow the discussions with Wikipedia in one hand and the other scratching my head... but to no avail. :D
There's no fee listed on their website. I'll ask Ben though.
The conference is completely free.
Sorry, my internet was down. Yeah, Kevin's right. Ben said that UVSC and Westminster are helping out enough that they didn't have to charge.
I've closed comments in order to avoid spam since I don't check this older blog as much anymore.
